Recent, high profile bank robberies have highlighted the need for more proactive measures to deter criminals. No Hats, No Hoods, No Sunglasses, No Guns is a simple, effective campaign that provides banks with a tool to deter bank robbers and also serves to heighten the public’s awareness of these dangerous individuals.

This program has been effective in reducing the number of “note job” robberies, where a person enters, hands a note to the teller and demands money. The simple act of removing hats, hoods and sunglasses in Wisconsin’s banks will make it much easier to identify and capture anyone committing a crime, or prevent a crime from occurring altogether.
