Wolf River Community Bank announces that Joe Lautenschlager has been promoted to Assistant Vice President – Commercial Lending.
Lautenschlager joined Wolf River Community Bank as a Commercial Lender in 2019. In his new role, he will enhance and grow Wolf River Community Bank’s commercial department and will continue to help businesses with lending solutions, such as acquiring lines of credit and securing business loans for construction or new equipment.
Lautenschlager’s promotion reflects his strong commitment to community service as well as oversight of a quickly and continuously growing loan portfolio. Through the past year, Lautenschlager originated a large number of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans that assisted many local businesses through the pandemic and also considerably increased commercial relationships for the bank through his outbound efforts.
Lautenschlager is from Greenville and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. He is actively involved in the community through his role as Secretary of the Greenville Civic Club, President of the Fox West Chapter of Business Network International (BNI), a member of Elevate 920 and as a part-time announcer and umpire for local baseball games.
“As we celebrate our 25th year of growing in our communities, we are thrilled to be advancing our talented group at Wolf River Community Bank,” said Jason Bloxham, Executive Vice President – Chief Lending Officer of Wolf River Community Bank. “Joe’s longstanding dedication and commitment to Wolf River Community Bank combined with his charismatic nature cultivated a strong network within our business community. He was instrumental in helping local businesses navigate through the unique challenges of the pandemic. I’m excited to see him lead and execute a vision for the future of our commercial lending team.”
