In partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, WBA is pleased to announce and offer educational scholarships for select WBA fall education events to bankers who are members of Historically Underrepresented Groups. The scholarships are being offered to invest in these bankers and help them develop in their career in the banking industry. The scholarships are open to members of underrepresented groups, including African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanics or Chicanos/Latinos, Native Americans, those who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and those with disabilities.
Scholarships will cover the registration fee of the selected program along with overnight accommodations as needed. Other travel expenses and meals not provided at the event are to be covered by the individual/bank. Scholarships will be made available for the following WBA education events:
