As part of WBA’s ongoing advocacy efforts to facilitate discussions between the banking industry and regulatory agencies, a meeting was held last Friday with a small group of bankers and staff from WBA and OCC. Among the topics discussed were emerging issues of cybersecurity, underwriting standards, and commercial real estate concentrations. The group also discussed the regulatory burden imposed by various laws and the need for relief from such burdens. In attendance were Asst. Deputy Comptroller Mark Zeihen, Asst. Deputy Comptroller Ben Lemanski, WBA’s Mike Semmann and Kris Cleven, Peter Prickett, Nicolet National Bank, Green Bay, Kathy Robbins, First National Bank in Tigerton, John Knellwolf, First National Bank at Darlington, and Jay McKenna, North Shore Bank, Brookfield.
