Tomorrow is Capitol Day. If you are still interested in attending, members are welcome to show up at the Monona Terrace in Madison at 9:30 a.m. to register for the event.

To help you prepare in advance, members are welcome to download this two page issue paper which contains the issues we are speaking to legislators on.

Members are asked to consider the following questions and come prepared to share your thoughts with your legislators.

  1. What is the current economic environment in the communities your bank serves? What are the opportunities? What are the challenges?
  2. Briefly describe the current lending environment that your bank is experiencing in the areas of consumer, business, farm, and other loans.
  3. Do you have an anecdote that demonstrates the positive effects your bank is having on the community, particularly an economic development success story?‚Äč
