The OCC has named William A. Rowe as its Chief Risk Officer, effective July 24. Rowe fills the position which opened when Linda Cunningham retired in April 2017.Rowe has served as Deputy to the Chief of Staff and Liaison to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation since 2006. In his new role, he will lead the agency’s Office of Enterprise Risk Management and the agency’s Enterprise Risk Committee. Under his direction, the Office of Enterprise Risk Management supports an agency-wide view of risks and evaluates adherence to the agency’s risk appetite statement.
