Investors Community Bank, Manitowoc, recently invited Congressman Glenn Grothman to their bank. The purpose was to show him firsthand the issues that increasing regulations place on small, community banks and their ability to serve customers. Key items discussed included regulations facing community banks, tax reform and ways community banks can make their voices heard. This type of visit is invaluable for lawmakers to hear so they truly understand how their decisions are affecting banks and their customers.
This event was a part of WBA’s ongoing advocacy efforts. If you would like to arrange a similar visit to your bank, contact WBA’s Jon Turke at email@example.com.
