SNBT’s Elisa Rollo (left) explains how the new eTeller works to Congressman Mike Gallagher (center) with SNBT's Daniel Peterson.

Congressman Mike Gallagher visited The Stephenson National Bank & Trust, Marinette (SNBT) recently to discuss a wide variety of topics including bank technology, Tax Reform, and Regulatory Relief.

We are fortunate that Congressman Gallagher took time to visit our bank and learn more about how we operate,” said Daniel J. Peterson, SNBT President & CEO. “His commitment to better understanding the regulations and risks that come with the financial world was refreshing.”

To kick-off the visit, Gallagher sat down with the bank employees and discussed day-to-day operations at SNBT. The congressman and bank staff discussed banking issues such as various regulations, the DOL Fiduciary Rule, and the role that banks play in maintaining a strong local economy.

Peterson then led a tour of the bank for the congressman including the bank’s new eTeller, a replacement of the ATMs that provides customers with more convenient services, and the bank’s vault that is over 100 years old.
