Wisconsin’s presence will definitely be felt as 77 Wisconsin bankers from 34 banks attend the ABA National Agriculture Conference held in Milwaukee this week. WBA’s Daryll Lund helped kick off the event by welcoming the 700+ attendees from across the country and Canada.

Wisconsin was selected for our role in American agriculture and the involvement of Wisconsin agricultural bankers. WBA is a partner in this year’s Conference as the hosting state bankers association with WBA’s Lori Kalscheuer and Dave Coggins, Investors Community Bank, Manitowoc, both serving on the conference planning committee. Coggins has also been selected to serve on ABA’s Agricultural and Rural Bankers Committee. Thanks also go out to Mike DeLong, First Bank of Baldwin, for his past three years of service to that same committee.

ABA also chose Wisconsin to launch their inaugural Women in Ag Banking Networking Breakfast, recognizing the increasing number of women in agricultural banking. Twenty Wisconsin women ag bankers will be in attendance at this first-time event.
