Remember the dark days of the government shutdown? Or were you too busy with your family over the weekend to notice? If you're like us, its more likely the latter.
There's been a lot of strong rhetoric coming from both sides over the last year. Whether over the repeal of Net Neutrality, tax cuts, Obamacare repeal, over the top comments on the effects of each from both sides have been difficult to stomach.
Thats where Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) comes in. He spoke for most Americans this week when he commented on public perception of the shutdown: "I think ardent Republicans think Republicans are winning and ardent Democrats think Democrats are winning. And everybody else in America is kind of wondering how folks up here made it through the birth canal."
