A new Wisconsin Bank & Trust building could be the cornerstone for development at Main Street and Cottage Grove Road, Village President Jack Henrich said at the bank’s ribbon cutting Jan. 11.

“This will help bring a lot of new things to the area,” added Sam Brummond, senior personal banker.

More than 50 banking staff, village officials and community members attended the ceremony at 580 N. Main St. The bank officially opened the new office a few days earlier, on Monday, Jan. 8.

This new building features a unique modern design by Middleton-based architectural firm Sketchworks Architecture. The 3,200-square-foot facility includes three drive-thru lanes.

Another feature is its conference room with glass windows that will be available for nonprofit organizations, businesses or community groups that need a place to meet.
