The WBA recently met with Wisconsin Attorney General candidate Josh Kaul who explained the issues he is primarily focused on as part of his campaign. Specifically, he shared his approach to criminal justice matters, his interest in enforcing environmental and consumer protection laws, and his view of the office as an independent watchdog.
Current Republican incumbent Brad Schimel recently announced that he is running for re-election to a second term. Schimel has met with WBA in the past regarding the work he is currently directing on stemming the tide of financial and physical exploitation of the elderly. The task force he created includes two banks representing the industry’s interest in this topic.
