Community State Bank (CSB) is pleased to announce the reopening of their Union Grove office and Shepherds Community Café on Monday, July 23, 2018. The office has been under renovation since November 2017 and features a new drive-thru, two community rooms, employee collaboration areas and an outdoor patio space.
“We’re so excited to show our newly renovated office to the community,” said CSB President and CEO, Scott Huedepohl. “The design reflects everything a community bank stands for... strong communities and building quality relationships. We encourage our neighbors to stop in and check out our office and new café.”
Shepherds Community Café is a collaboration between Community State Bank and Shepherds College and is nestled conveniently within CSB’s Union Grove office. The café will provide training, work experience and job opportunities for local students with intellectual disabilities.
“Shepherds Community Café is more than coffee,” said Café Manager, Brooke Clark. “It’s about acceptance, inclusion, utilizing our student’s unique talents and bringing our communities together. Our students are excited for this unique experience and an opportunity to showcase the skills they are learning at school.”
The café will serve Stone Creek Coffee and will have a variety of bakery items available for purchase. In addition to café seating, two meeting rooms are available to local community businesses and organizations to use upon request.
The office and café will open for business on Monday, July 23, 2018. Community State Bank and Shepherds College also invite the community to a Grand Opening event on Saturday, August 11 from 9 a.m. until noon. The Grand Opening will include office tours and café samples.
