Great North Bank President & CEO Tom Wittkopf announced that Kim Van Osdol has joined the bank. Van Osdol has 42 years of experience in the banking industry, mostly on the executive level.
“We are confident that Kim’s leadership will further our mission as a family owned and independent bank,” explains Wittkopf. “He brings a depth of knowledge and expertise. It’s great to have him on board.”
Great North Bank continues to see strong growth. They recently completed a major enhancement to their technological systems that allows for improved and expanded business services. Van Osdol, along with Market President Matt Nord, will work to ensure customer goals are met as the bank grows its services throughout the region.
“Our success in banking has always been rooted in our commitment to our family values. Kim’s onboarding is another way we are showing our customers we are committed to being a values-driven bank where customers come first.”
Van Osdol will focus primarily on meeting the needs of businesses and people in Southern Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin–an area he is familiar with having owned a home in Norway, Michigan. Matt Nord will focus primarily on the Northern Upper Peninsula, but there will be plenty of collaboration and crossover of expertise.
“I enjoy helping businesses and people succeed,” Kim explains. “My 42 years of commercial, financial and community leadership experience has been focused on listening and building relationships. I look forward to making a positive difference in the success of Great North Bank, its team members, and customers.”
