Horicon Bank announces the promotion of Dale A. Hans (NMLS 469854) to senior vice president and head of the bank’s mortgage lending.
Hans brings more than 30 years of banking experience to his new role. A UW-Oshkosh graduate, he started his banking career in Fond du Lac. Hans joined Horicon Bank in 1998 as a loan officer and branch manager in Appleton. In 2007, he transferred back to Fond du Lac at the newly built Horicon Bank office on East Johnson Street and continued his role as a lender in the Fond du Lac area.
Hans is a familiar face in the Fond du Lac community – actively participating in Noon Kiwanis and serving as the Board President of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
For all the years that he has been lending, Hans says he still enjoys the role he plays in helping customers become homeowners.
“I still get a great deal of satisfaction when I’m handing that garage door opener to my customer, or watching them get the keys from the realtor, or we’re out putting a shovel in the ground of the lot they purchased for their new home,” explained Hans. “I get to be a part of making their dream come true.”
Horicon Bank President, Fred F. Schwertfeger says it is the caring attitude of bankers like Dale that make Horicon Bank a top place to work. “Our vision at Horicon Bank is to be bankers who care about our communities and our customers,” said Schwertfeger. “Dale is a banker who does just that.”
