Twenty-four hours after a Fox Point bank was robbed, a man wearing a Halloween mask robbed another North Shore bank just a couple miles down the road in Glendale.
This time, the targeted institution was the PNC Bank near Port Washington and Green Tree roads. The man entered the bank at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday, October 3 and passed a note to the teller.
As the teller loaded money into the man's backpack, the man yelled at the other employees not to do anything stupid, implying he had a weapon, according to Glendale police officer Todd Lynch. After taking an unspecified amount of money, the man walked northbound on Port Washington Road.
Glendale police believe the masked bank robber is the same man who robbed Waterstone Bank in Fox Point on October 2. He was wearing the same mask, dressed in the same clothing and used the same methods as the Fox Point bank robber.
The suspect is described as a man with a large build, standing more than 6 feet tall. He was wearing all black winter clothing and a Halloween mask.
