After 47 years with American Bank, its longest tenure employee, Senior Vice President / Loan Officer, Constance (Connie) Schoepke, retired on Friday, December 14.
When asked about her career and years with the bank, Schoepke had this to say, “As I reflect on that number - 47 years - I think, ‘How can that be possible!?’”
She continued to say, “It has been a pleasure working with my many clients over the years and getting to know them and their families. I will miss working with them on a day-to-day basis, but I’m also looking forward to the opportunities retirement will provide me with to spend more time with my family - especially my grandkids.”
As a result of Schoepke's retirement, American Bank is proud to also announce the promotion of some of its employees. Ryan Martin was recently promoted to Loan Officer. Additionally, Brendalynn Ricco-Wagner was promoted to Branch Manager at the bank's office inside Beaver Dam Walmart and Caitlyn Fick was named to the Head Teller position at the same office.
Ryan Martin was previously the Branch Manager/Loan Officer at the location inside Beaver Dam Walmart. He has been with American Bank for over five years and holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from UW – Whitewater. He’s looking forward to serving the lending needs of the community from his new office at our Northside Beaver Dam location.
Although Brendalynn Ricco-Wagner has been with American Bank for just over a year, she has 17 years of experience in the banking industry. She was previously the Head Teller at the bank's office inside Beaver Dam Walmart and wants to continue building relationships with customers at that location.
Caitlyn Fick has been with the bank as a Customer Service Representative at the bank's office inside Beaver Dam Walmart since the summer of 2016. She is looking forward to continuing to serve customers at that office in her new role as Head Teller.
While it is hard to say goodbye to Schoepke after 47 years with the organization, American Bank’s Board of Directors and staff members are also excited for her to begin the next chapter in her life.
