WBA visits campuses around the state encouraging students to consider internships and careers in the Wisconsin banking industry. The most recent stops on our mission to promote careers in banking were at UW-La Crosse and UW-Stevens Point. Each WBA campus event features a panel of bankers who network and provide industry information to the students. These events have been tremendously successful due to the participating bankers who provide a unique insight for the attendees. These events were our first visits to these two campuses and yielded great results with 20+ students attending each session.

If you are a Wisconsin alumnus or your bank recruits from a Wisconsin campus, we need your help! We have many opportunities to join a panel or attend to network at upcoming campus events. If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact WBA’s Patty Rogers via email.

Our next campus visit will be at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019.

Earlier in the fall semester, campus events were held at Marquette University and UW-Madison. Check out a recap of those two events.
