Marinette and Menominee have a chance to win a $500,000 reality television makeover and The Stephenson National Bank & Trust is assisting in those efforts.

Deluxe Corporation, historically known for its check printing, has created a community revitalization contest and reality television series known as The Small Business Revolution. For the contest, they received over 12,000 applications for communities across the entire United States; the field has already been narrowed to 10, which includes Marinette and Menominee in a joint effort.

The Stephenson National Bank & Trust has been assisting the coordination of local efforts to win this contest.

The Deluxe team, including Amanda Brinkman, will be visiting soon to scout the joint communities, learn about small businesses, and discover the uniqueness of the area. Ultimately, they are looking for a community that matches up with their own goals for success and how they can match their skills with the needs of local businesses.

Once the final five towns are announced, voting will begin immediately and run for only seven days.

If Marinette/Menominee makes it to the final five, WBA and the Stephenson National Bank & Trust will be asking for your help to get them across the finish line. It will literally take millions of votes for any town to win, which is more than these two communities can muster on their own.
