Waukesha State Bank rebranded some of its services in an effort to better build relationships at the local level. 

The bank announced this week that it is dividing its Prairie Financial Group into two brands: Prairie Trust and Waukesha State Bank Wealth Management. The previous brand launched in 2013 with the intent to expand its national footprint as a delegated personal trust administrator, according to a news release.  

The bank wanted to emphasize its local connection to Waukesha State Bank because of the recent growth of its other wealth management services. Victor Schultz, the president and chief fiduciary officer of the company, said the bank’s wealth management services are well-established but lesser known among its offerings, “making relationships more difficult to build at a local level.”
