At the January Board of Directors meeting, Andrew Bosshard was elected to serve on the Bank of Alma’s Board of Directors, replacing retiring Sabina Bosshard who has served on the Bank’s Board since 1986.
Bosshard is an attorney with the La Crosse firm Bosshard Parke, Ltd and has been Bank of Alma’s attorney for several years. Bosshard’s practice focuses on business law with an emphasis on banking and creditor rights. He represents financial institutions on issues of banking regulation, the purchase and sale of banks, and the opening of branch banks. He holds degrees from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Northwestern University School of Law. In addition to serving the Bank of Alma board, Bosshard currently serves on the boards of directors for First National Bank of Bangor, WI, Intercity State Bank of Schofield, WI and Oregon Community Bank of Oregon, WI. He also serves as the Vice Chair of the Western Technical College District School Board.
Bosshard said, “I am excited about this new opportunity to serve on the bank board. I look forward to assisting Bank of Alma in continuing its mission to serve the banking needs of the Alma, Nelson, Pepin, and Wabasha communities.”
Bosshard is the son of President Bill Bosshard and resides in La Crosse with his wife and their three daughters.
