Two bankers from Wisconsin won Emerging Leader Scholarships from the American Bankers Association to help defray costs of attending the ABA Washington Summit. Government Relations Committee Chair Gary Kuter, Capitol Bank, and Elsa Condon, BMO Harris Bank, were selected upon recommendation from WBA.

Leadership development and effective advocacy go hand in hand—and the Emerging Leaders Forum is a chance to share challenges and strategies with peers from across the country as these bankers work to cultivate a strong, dynamic, and diverse banking industry for the future.

During this interactive program, attendees heard from thought-provoking speakers and learned ways to build on their networking and leadership development skills. Speakers included Congressman Trey Hollingsworth (R-Ind.) and Florent Groberg, Medal of Honor recipient and former U.S. Army Captain, among others.
