Waukesha State Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of Kelly Savatski to vice president – senior portfolio manager and Theresa Schultz to assistant vice president – senior retirement officer.

“Kelly and Theresa's promotions are well deserved and reflective of their loyal employment, hard work and expertise they provide to our wealth management clients," stated Victor J. Schultz, president of Waukesha State Bank Wealth Management.

Savatski joined Waukesha State Bank in 1988 as a teller and worked in various banking positions before joining the investments division, Waukesha Investments, in 1995. In 2002, she transitioned to the wealth management division and took on the role of investment administrator. After accepting increasing responsibilities, she was promoted to investment officer in 2012 and to senior portfolio manager in 2016. In her new role as vice president – senior portfolio manager, Savatski will continue her leadership role with the wealth management investment team. This includes constructing, educating, implementing, and monitoring portfolios as well as partnering with Waukesha State Bank Wealth Management’s outside advisor platform to meet the long-term financial needs of clients.

Savatski is a Certified Financial Planner® and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®. She graduated with a bachelor’s of science in education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Savatski is active in the community serving as a former Great Blue Heron Girl Scout Council Investment Committee member. She has also served in many roles with the Financial Planning Association of Wisconsin including board secretary, symposium committee chair and audit committee member.

Schultz started with Waukesha State Bank as an intern in 2000. Over the last 19 years, she has taken on increasing roles and responsibilities, including trust assistant, pension administrator, retirement services administrator and senior retirement specialist. She was promoted to senior retirement officer in 2016, and in her new role as assistant vice president – senior retirement officer, Schultz will continue to serve as the primary contact for a number of IRA accounts and supervise the overall management of Waukesha State Bank Wealth Management’s IRA relationships in addition to taking on more investment management responsibilities.

Schultz is a Certified IRA Services Provider (CISP). She earned her associate's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha and her bachelor's degree in business administration from Carroll University.
