The election for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBC) Member and Independent Directors is underway. Voting is electronic this year and must be done by Nov. 5, 2019. They have partnered with Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) to administer the process.

There are two Wisconsin bankers running for the election. John K. Reinke, Chairman, Board of Directors, The Stephenson National Bank & Trust, Marinette (who is an incumbent); and Bradley Schroeder, President and CEO, DMB Community Bank, DeForest.

Wisconsin bankers are strongly encouraged to vote in the Independent Director Election.

A few comments to remember:

  • In this year’s Wisconsin member director election, members may vote for ONE candidate listed on the ballot to fill the one directorship that is available.  The member must submit the ballot by the deadline on November 5, 2019.
  • Each member must have a resolution of its Board or governing body on file authorizing officers or directors to vote the members’ ballot, but it is not necessary that a copy of the resolution be supplied at time of voting.  It simply needs to be available in case of an audit.
