Time Federal Savings Bank is pleased to contribute $10,000 to the First Presbyterian Church Free Clinic in Wausau. This clinic will serve those who do not have health insurance and who are living in poverty, as well as the underserved populations and those with other issues as obstacles to healthcare access. The clinic has had an overwhelming response with providers and businesses donating time, supplies and equipment. Run exclusively by licensed medical volunteers, the clinic will operate on a regular weekly schedule once in its permanent site, expanding to meet needs as they are identified. While awaiting a permanent site, a weekly outreach clinic has been established the past two winters to serve the homeless population at Catholic Charities Warming Center on 3rd Avenue.
Jeffrey Todd, Manager of FPC Free Clinic, states, “the generous support of Time Federal Savings Bank means so much to our church and team of clinic volunteers. This donation demonstrates a true giving spirit and desire to help those who are less fortunate. We are blessed to have organizations like Time Federal Savings Bank in our community.”
Ya Yang, Wausau Commercial Lending Officer at Time Federal Savings Bank states, “the First Presbyterian Church Free Clinic is an important organization for our community and we are happy to contribute to their efforts. This clinic will positively impact our community and help those in need.”
