Community State Bank (CSB) is pleased to announce the recent hire of Tyler Lange as assistant vice president, controller. With this position, Lange will lead all aspects of the accounting function including audits, revenue, taxes, accounts receivable, internal and external financial reporting.
“Tyler’s expertise will be a great asset to our bank,” said CSB Chief Financial Officer Peter Schumacher. “He will play a key role at CSB as we continue to ensure we maintain proper accounting control procedures. We’re honored to welcome him to the financial team, and are excited to see what potential lies ahead.”
Lange joins CSB with over 13 years of experience in the financial industry. His previous positions include credit analyst, controller, and auditor. In addition, Lange has also obtained his MBA from Marquette University and his CPA license.
“I’m honored to be a part of the Community State Bank team and join a bank that is so focused on the community,” said Lange. “I grew up in the area and I’m eager to be a part of what CSB does so well, serve the community.”
Lange’s office is located at CSB’s Union Grove headquarters. He officially began his position at the end of 2019 and is working closely with the financial team and current controller, Dianne Funk. Tyler joining CSB is part of a strategic succession plan while Funk transitions to an advisory role as she plans for retirement.
