WBA recently held the 15th annual WBA Economic Forecast Luncheon at the Alliant Energy Center. At the event Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President James Bullard outlined what it will take for the central bank to guide the U.S. economy to a “soft landing” in 2020 and why he’s confident it will happen.

WBA also held a similar event the next day in Eau Claire featuring Dennis Winters, chief economist, Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, and Dave Armstrong, executive director, Barron County Economic Development Corporation. Both events drew a high number of attendees and media attention.
