Waukesha State Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Joel Potter to assistant vice president – bank manager.
“Joel has embraced the bank’s commitment to serving our customers and the Sussex community. He came to us with a strong base of banking knowledge and experience and has used that to build and enhance customer relationships,” stated Devon Arnold, Waukesha State Bank vice president and retail banking manager. “We are pleased to provide this promotion in recognition of those efforts and his contribution to the bank’s success.”
Potter joined Waukesha State Bank in 2017 as bank manager of the Sussex location. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and has more than 19 years of retail banking experience, which includes sales, management, customer service, and training. In his new position as assistant vice president – bank manager, Potter will continue to be responsible for all aspects of daily Sussex office operations, including business development, personnel management, customer service, lending, relationship management, and community service.
Potter has a strong commitment to the community currently serving as board president for the Sussex Area Chamber of Commerce and on the finance committee for Southbrook Church. In addition, he teaches 5th and 6th grade Sunday school at Southbrook Church.
