The 2020 Wisconsin Agricultural Bankers Conference is almost here! Whether you will be joining us in person at the Glacier Canyon Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells or virtually, this is our annual opportunity to bring together members of the WBA Ag Bankers Section from all around the state for both education and networking.

After registration and a light breakfast, we'll kick off July 8 at 9 a.m. when we hear from Edwin Elfmann from the American Bankers Association with “A View from Washington.” Our next presentation will be by the duo of Daryll Lund and Mike Semmann from the Wisconsin Bankers Association who will provide “An Update from WBA.” Dan Basse, with AgResource Company, will discuss “What Globalization Means for U.S. Agriculture,” after which Britt O’Connell with Commodity Risk Management Group will share insights on “Marketing with Intention.” Our final speaker of the day is Mike North of Commodity Risk Management Group who will relay his expertise on the “Dairy Outlook.”

Although we won’t have an exhibition hall this year with exhibitors hosting booths, we are delighted to report that some exhibitors will be in attendance. We know many of you have a considerable drive home, so we promise to wrap up the conference by 3:15 p.m. As a reminder, due to the somewhat abbreviated conference this year, your conference registration fee also covers your annual membership fee in the Ag Section.

Haven't registered yet? Hurry and reserve your spot today!

As we wrap up June Dairy Month and look ahead to July, we anticipate a conference well worth your time and money. Whether it’s in person or via livestream, we look forward to your participation in the Agricultural Bankers Conference. Have a happy and safe 4th of July! See you soon!
