Greenwoods State Bank announced today that Michael A. Morse has joined the bank and will serve as senior vice president specializing in commercial banking. Morse brings a quarter-century of banking experience to Greenwoods State Bank.
“Executive Vice President Keith Pollek was instrumental in bringing me to the Greenwoods team. Keith and the whole team at Greenwoods have terrific reputations within our market in Wisconsin banking and I’m excited to now work on the same team,” noted Morse.
Morse also cited the balance of bank discipline as well as the ability to be flexible with customers. “The essence of a true community bank like Greenwoods State Bank is a blend of financial horsepower, strength, and depth while understanding our customers and their specific individual circumstances. The Greenwoods environment lets me have a direct impact on the lives of those I work with, both employees and clients.”
Rob Cera, president of Greenwoods State Bank, said, “Michael is the perfect blend of integrity, talent, and experience. He will be a special asset, especially in Racine and Walworth Counties. Our bank continues to grow at a measured pace and we know Michael will be a part of that continued growth in the region.”
Morse concluded, “I’ve never known a more engaged and strategic group of dedicated bankers than at Greenwoods State Bank. They really value and cherish their roles in this community. There is literally no bureaucracy, no remote-control banking. This team is hands-on, looking for ways to make our customers more successful every day.”
Morse and his wife, Mary Rose, have four adult children. He enjoys sporting events, fishing, and golf.
