Through the New Targeted Impact Fund, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLB Chicago) has allocated funds to its members to support relief efforts for all ethnicities, elderly, rural, and low- and moderate-income communities.
Thanks to their partnership with the FHLB Chicago, Farmers & Merchants State Bank responded to this amazing opportunity and obtained a $15,000 grant for the Marshall~Waterloo Food Pantry.
Farmers & Merchants State Bank is committed to supporting customers and communities, now more than ever. With this relief effort we are proud to make a difference while promoting equity and opportunity in the communities that we serve.
Since opening in 1992, the Marshall ~ Waterloo Food Pantry has served as an emergency facility for families and individuals in Marshall and Waterloo school districts that are in need of short term food assistance. It is located at 117 E. Madison Street in Waterloo and open on Saturday from 9 – 10 am and Wednesday evenings from noon to 1 pm and 7 – 8 pm.
