I would like to officially invite all Wisconsin banking executives and industry leaders to join me at the annual Bank Executives Conference (or “Bank Execs” as many of us call it). This is our association’s premier event, featuring invaluable networking opportunities and hours of education and development from nationally recognized speakers and thought leaders.
We’re doing things a little differently this year due to COVID. On Feb. 1-3, Bank Execs will be offered as a virtual event. This new format should be seen as an opportunity for your bank. The virtual event can be a way to include key staff who may normally not be able to attend this premier event.
As I mentioned in last month’s column, the unifying theme for our event is “Advancing Your Culture.” Culture is such a powerful force within your bank and drives more of your success than you realize. That’s why so many of our sessions will address different aspects of culture ranging from talent, innovation, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), and much more.
Between now and the conference, you and your executive team can be thinking about your current culture and how it should evolve to meet your institution’s goals. You’ll be in the best position to leverage the expertise at the upcoming event to create the right culture for your unique organization.
Culture won’t be the only issue presented by our event. An advisory group of your peers designed this agenda with you in mind so we’ll still be tackling a variety of unique banking-related topics to prepare you for 2021. The agenda overall is very solid with something for all levels at your bank.
In addition to the sessions, I’m really looking forward to "seeing" all of you at this event. See you in February!
