The Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) was named a finalist in the ROI Rockstar category for the 2021 Cvent Excellence Awards. The awards program, hosted by Cvent, a market-leading meetings, events and hospitality technology provider, is now in its ninth year and recognizes industry leaders from a diverse set of organizations who use Cvent technology in new and inspiring ways to deliver best-in-class in-person, virtual, and hybrid experiences. Winners will be announced on Monday, August 2 during a live virtual and in-person ceremony in Las Vegas as part of Cvent CONNECT, Cvent’s annual customer conference.
As a finalist in the ROI Rockstar category, WBA has been recognized for its effective use of Cvent technology to drive revenue growth and maintain business momentum using creative tactics during challenging times. Nominees in this category are realizing measurable ROI, whether for virtual, hybrid, or in-person events, and are setting and exceeding goals, automating event communications, and maximizing attendance and engagement.
“Each year I’m blown away by the caliber of submissions we receive for the Cvent Excellence Awards,” said Cvent Senior Vice President and CMO Patrick Smith. “This year’s finalists reflect our industry’s resilience, passion, and deep commitment to the power of events to bring people together virtually and in person. After what was a very challenging year for so many, we’re excited to once again recognize these organizations and individuals in-person in Las Vegas at Cvent CONNECT.”
“Leveraging state-of-the-art technology helps us to deliver the best possible event experience to our attendees,” said WBA Executive Vice President & Chief of Staff Daryll Lund. “Our staff has been very dedicated to keeping our members connected — throughout the pandemic in a virtual format and as we return to in-person events — and we’re honored to be named a finalist for our use of Cvent technology in our event services, which are a top priority of our organization.”
