Association Update: Share Your Expertise with WBA
Apply now to join a committee, section, or advisory board
By Daryll Lund
As a member-driven association, one critical component to the success of the Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) is the participation of our members. The Association thrives on the active engagement and collaboration of bankers across the state, as they provide invaluable insights and perspectives that shape the direction of our initiatives.
Now through Monday, March 11, WBA is accepting applications for volunteers interested in joining one of WBA’s various committees, sections, or advisory boards. These groups, which are comprised of banker volunteers from a variety of areas in the bank, play a significant role in the future of Wisconsin’s banking industry and the Association as a whole. From financial crimes to mortgage lending, WBA is pleased to offer the opportunity for all bankers to make their voices heard.
In volunteering, bankers will work alongside their peers and WBA staff to tailor the Association’s programs, advocacy efforts, and educational resources to be the most relevant, impactful, and reflective of the evolving landscape of the banking industry. In addition, bankers involved on a committee, section, or advisory board greatly benefit from the opportunity to establish connections and share ideas with other bankers from across Wisconsin.
