Bank Awards Outstanding Citizen Scholarships

The Community Bank of Portage, a branch of Bank of Wisconsin Dells, recently awarded its 2023 Outstanding Citizen Scholarship. Portage High School graduates, Greta Shortreed and Mitchell Fimreite, were each presented one $2,500 scholarship by BWD and Scholarship Committee member Ben Brancel at the annual scholarship night on May 4, 2023.

This scholarship is awarded each year to two Portage High School seniors who demonstrate a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for people in his or her school and community.
