Bank Five Nine was proud to present a big check in support of Mel’s Golf Scramble and the launch of Sara Smiles – two incredible efforts led by Mel’s Charities to uplift and support the Ozaukee County community.
The annual Mel’s Golf Scramble, taking place July 14, 2025, at the River Club in Mequon, is one of the most well-run and impactful golf outings in the area. We’re honored to be part of an event that brings people together for such meaningful causes. We’re equally proud to support Sara Smiles, a new initiative within Mel’s Charities that spreads hope and provides critical support to those facing a cancer diagnosis.
Since 1999, Mel’s Charities has grown from a one-day pig roast into one of the most recognized names in Ozaukee County. With over $3 million donated -and 100% of net proceeds from their events going back into the community – their motto, “What We Raise Here Stays Here,” is one we proudly stand behind. “At Bank Five Nine, our mission is to make lives better – and supporting Mel’s Charities is one of the many ways we get to do that,” said Tim Schneider, CEO of Bank Five Nine. “What they do for our communities is powerful, heartfelt, and life-changing. We’re grateful to help fuel that impact.”
