Bank Five Nine Donates to the Germantown Community Library’s Patio Project
Bank Five Nine happily donated $2,000 to support the funding of the Germantown Community Library’s Patio Project.
Having broken ground on June 3, their expanded patio provides an additional outdoor space for patrons of all ages. The project includes concrete work by Cervantes Concrete Services LLC, which doubles the previous footprint and adds an ADA pathway and area for a bike rack. Other new items include two new picnic benches, playhouses, a musical instrument area, and other literacy items.
“We are so thankful that Bank Five Nine chose to support the Germantown Community Library patio update project. Their donation has already made a big impact towards our completing the first phase of our project. We couldn’t do what we do without the support of our community,” said Cara Reimer, Outreach Services Librarian at the Germantown Community Library.
The Germantown Community Library Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Friday, June 28 and they are happy to share that the project was 100% funded by donations. They raised about $40,000 – 80% of their total goal of $50,000 for the project.
“Bank Five Nine jumped at the chance to be involved in this project and community members still have the chance to do the same. The patio area has bricks available to be engraved in recognition of donations starting at $100. The next brick order will be placed on Wednesday, July 17 and another on Wednesday, September 18. Let’s continue to Make Lives Better together,” said Cheri Schadeberg, AVP, Germantown Branch Manager at Bank Five Nine.
