Bank Five Nine Honors Five With Annual President’s Awards

Pictured (left to right) are: Tim Schneider, Todd Sivak, Mckenna Heppe, Steve Thomas, Todd Scheid, and Heather Drazkowski.

Bank Five Nine President and CEO Tim Schneider presented five employees with President’s Awards at the Bank Five Nine ‘All Employee Meeting’ on February 20, 2023, recognizing their accomplishments in 2022.

Leader in Community Service

This year’s Leader in Customer Service is Todd Scheid. Scheid has been expertly providing distinctive customer service for over a decade. He currently holds Board of Director positions on the Oconomowoc Area Foundation and the Oconomowoc Scholarship Foundation, and previously held Director positions at the YMCA. His community contributions are selfless and demonstrate who we are and how we make lives better in our local communities. He also contributes time in multiple Chamber of Commerce Organizations including the Waukesha County Business Alliance. He engages with the Oconomowoc Area School District students and teachers in delivering Reality Check; a High School Student financial educational mock-life event and in recent years was recruited by OHS to be a judge for DECCA participants. His dedication doesn’t stop with our youth, Scheid serves on the Finance Committee at Shorehaven Senior Living Complex as well.

Leader in Customer Service

This year’s Leader in Customer Service is Mckenna Heppe. She has been recognized by both her customers and peers for her excellent customer service. She goes above and beyond by often participating in joint calls with borrowers and their other professional service providers to get what is needed for our financing requests. Borrowers appreciate her willingness to gather this information directly as the SBA loan process can be overwhelming for some.

Mark W. Mohr Mentorship

This year’s Mark W. Mohr Mentorship Award goes to Heather Drazkowski. Drazkowski was nominated by three of her colleagues and she certainly embodies the traits Bank Five nine looks for in recognizing a true mentor. One nominator described her as: “She is kind, she is giving, and she is patient. She has taught me so much since coming to this department. She can have 100 things on her plate, but she will always answer your question immediately and does it with a smile on her face.” Another nominator added, “she is very clear and concise in her instructions, both verbal and written, and with any follow-up that is necessary. She offers to be a continuous resource after initial training and insists we shouldn’t be afraid to ask a question of her.”

Rising Star

This year’s Rising Star is Steve Thomas. Since being hired in 2018, Thomas has quickly had a positive impact on his colleagues and our customers. It is easy to understand why four of his colleagues nominated him for this award. Beginning with us as a service banker, Thomas proved to be goal driven and expressed a desire to build a long career in banking. He has consistently learned the skills he’s needed to be successful in each position he’s held, and he continues to learn, grow, and impress those around him. In September of 2022, Thomas was promoted to the Branch Manager position at Glendale.

Financial Achievement

This year’s winner of the Financial Achievement President’s Award is Todd Sivak. Since joining the bank, the team at Five Nine Wealth Management have grown their assets under management by 500% to more than $300 million. In 2022 alone, Sivak added $28 million in new client assets. His performance was recognized as being in the top 5% of all LPL advisors nationally.
