Bank Five Nine was recognized for its commitment to exceptional customer service, employee development, workplace culture, and community involvement at the recent North Shore Chamber Awards Banquet.

The community bank earned top honors in two categories, receiving the Outstanding Customer Service Award and celebrating Steve Thomas, Branch Manager of Bank Five Nine’s Glendale branch, as the recipient of the Young Professional of the Year Award.

In addition to these wins, Bank Five Nine was nominated for four additional awards, including the Diversity & Inclusion Award, Workplace of the Year Award, Marketing Excellence Award, and Business Education Partner Award.

“We are honored to be recognized by the North Shore Chamber and grateful for the dedication of our employees who make these achievements possible,” said Tim Schneider, President and CEO of Bank Five Nine. “These recognitions reflect our team’s commitment to serving customers, supporting one another, and making lives better in the communities we serve.”

The Outstanding Customer Service Award highlights Bank Five Nine’s dedication to delivering exceptional experiences and meaningful financial guidance to customers throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

“I’m so proud of my amazing team’s hard work and commitment to the level of customer service they provide to our customers and the communities we serve each and every day,” said Steve Thomas, Branch Manager of Bank Five Nine’s Glendale branch. “I’m also very honored to be named the North Shore Chamber’s Young Professional of the Year. While awards aren’t everything, receiving recognition for the work you do is always an amazing feeling.”

Steve Thomas’s Young Professional of the Year recognition is a reflection of the positive impact he makes every day. From being actively involved in the community to supporting and encouraging his team, Steve is the kind of leader who genuinely cares about people. He leads by example, builds meaningful relationships, and is always looking for ways to help others succeed.

“Steve exemplifies what it means to make lives better,” said Tim Schneider. “Whether he’s mentoring team members, supporting local organizations, or building relationships within the community, Steve brings energy, authenticity, and a genuine passion for helping others. We’re incredibly proud to see him recognized with this well-deserved award.”

Being recognized across six award categories reflects Bank Five Nine’s ongoing efforts to create an inclusive workplace, invest in employee development, support education initiatives, deliver innovative marketing programs, and strengthen the communities it serves.

While the awards recognize specific accomplishments, Bank Five Nine views them as a reflection of the collective efforts of employees across the organization who work every day to fulfill the bank’s purpose of making lives better.
