Bank Five Nine’s Gale Zastrow Named Okauchee Area Business Association Person of the Year
Bank Five Nine is proud to announce that Gale Zastrow, a Relationship Banker at the bank’s Oconomowoc branch, was named the 2025 Okauchee Area Business Association (OABA) Person of the Year during a special ceremony held on Saturday, April 26.
The award came as a complete surprise to Gale – but for those who know her, it was no surprise at all. Gale is an outstanding leader who truly embodies the spirit of community banking. Her positivity, passion, and dedication are felt not only within Bank Five Nine but throughout the entire Okauchee community.
“Gale is such a tremendous leader within Bank Five Nine and represents our Bank and the definition of Community Banking in such a positive light,” said Chris Wanner, Bank Five Nine Oconomowoc Branch Manager.
During the ceremony, Gale’s impact on the Okauchee community was truly celebrated. The speech highlighted how the success of the Okauchee community depends on people like Gale who show up, put in the hard work, and always put others first. Gale’s dedication shines through in everything she does, whether it’s giving her time to local events like the Dinner Dance, Street Dance, and Christmas Tree Lighting, or quietly stepping up to help whenever needed. She’s always ready to lend a hand, never seeking attention for herself, and serves with pride on the OABA Board of Directors. It’s this kind of selflessness that helps make Okauchee such a special place to live and work.
Described by Bank Five Nine’s CFO as “awesome – with a heart of gold,” Gale’s efforts continue to have a lasting mark on the Okauchee and Oconomowoc communities
Bank Five Nine proudly says – Congratulations, Gale! We’re so proud of you!
