Associate Internal Auditor

We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Internal Auditor to join our ShareFI team. The Associate Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting internal control audits, and risk-related management and consulting services to financial institutions. This position operates in both a remote and shared-services environment. Frequent overnight travel is required (50%).
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine reviews of controls, processes, and procedures (e.g., Teller, New Accounts, Loan Operations).
- Assist clients with risk management programs and policy development.
- Develop Internal Audit risk assessments, schedules, and procedures.
- Participate in client meetings and board presentations.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and efficiency.
- Stay updated on audit and risk responsibilities and regulations.
- Research regulatory issues and address risk management questions.
- Communicate with management and Board of Directors.
- Attend relevant conferences and conventions.

Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting or higher – or- minimum 5 years of general banking experience
Salary range
- $55,000 – $60,000
