Bay Bank Names Board Chair, New IT Vice President

Bay Bank’s Board of Directors recently selected a new board chair, Elaine Skenandore-Cornelius.

Founded in 1995, Bay Bank is the only tribe-owned bank in Wisconsin and has two locations in Green Bay and a third location in Keshena.

Skenandore-Cornelius, who worked in organizational development for the Oneida Nation has served on Bay Bank’s Board for the past 12 years.

“I have an educational background in economics and felt I could contribute to Bay Bank from a business perspective,” she said. “I feel I am making a personal contribution back to the Oneida Nation for all it has given me and my quality of life.”

Bay Bank President Jeff Bowman is looking forward to Skenandore-Cornelius’ leadership on the board.

“Elaine has been an asset to the board during the past 12 years. I know she will do a tremendous job as board chair and help guide Bay Bank forward,” he said.

In addition to Skenandore-Cornelius’ appointment, Bay Bank has also promoted Todd Cearfoss to vice president of IT.

Cearfoss has served as Bay Bank’s IT manager since September 2017. Prior to joining the bank, he was an IT consultant with Wipfli. Before working with Wipfli, Cearfoss was a field service engineer and IT consultant, where he provided outsourced IT services to Bay Bank for more than five years.

Cearfoss earned an associate degree in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University. Upon switching to work in IT, he obtained Microsoft certifications and CompTIA certifications.
