Behrendt Receives WNB Financial Community PRIDE Award
WNB Financial is pleased to announce Katie Behrendt, mortgage loan officer in Altoona, as the recipient of its 2022 fourth quarter Community PRIDE Award.
Community PRIDE Awards recognize WNB employees for exceptional volunteer service to programs, organizations, and initiatives that contribute to the strength and vitality of the communities served. This includes volunteering efforts made during and outside of work hours.
Behrendt serves the Ambassadors Committee for the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Parade of Homes Committee for the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association. She also volunteers for the Eau Claire County Humane Society, Feed My People Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity Chippewa Valley, and the United Way.
As a Community PRIDE Award recipient, Behrendt received $100 to donate to the organization of her choice, which she chose to donate to the Eau Claire County Humane Association for its “Be the Voice” campaign for a new facility. In addition, she received a certificate of recognition and a bank logo shirt.
In 2022, 69 WNB Financial employees donated 2,023 hours of service to 118 local organizations. WNB gifted over $419,000 to the community in the areas of education and youth programs, community service, economic development, health and wellness, and fine arts and culture.
