Community State Bank: Findysz Set to Become Community State Bank’s 10th President in 126 Years
Chief Executive Officer Scott Huedepohl remains in leadership role.
State Bank Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer Bob Findysz is set to become Community State Bank’s 10th president in the organization’s 126-year history.
Findysz takes over in his new role – along with a position on the Community State Bank Board of Directors – on January 1, 2025.
“One of the most important pieces of keeping an organization successful – one that has been around for 126 years – is good succession planning,” Huedepohl said.
“When (Findysz) first arrived, it took me about five minutes to realize that he has a different level of expertise of this industry and an understanding of what it takes to not only keep a community bank going but to make it stronger.”
Community State Bank President/Chief Executive Officer Scott Huedepohl will retain his role as CEO. He became the bank’s ninth president in 2013.
Huedepohl is a member of Community State Bank’s Board of Directors and the Union Bancorporation Board of Directors.
Findysz brings over 30 years of experience in the banking industry into his new position. He was named Community State Bank’s Chief Financial Officer in June 2023 and was promoted to Executive Vice President/CFO in January 2024.
Building off 126 years of success, the Community State Bank mission remains the same.
“Our success is defined by the respect and trust placed in us by our communities, employees and customers,” Findysz said. “We are committed to providing the best service to our communities because your success is our success.”
In other promotions effective January 1, Community State Bank Senior Vice President/Chief Lending Officer Robert Pieroni and Chief Operations Officer Katie Stolp take on new responsibilities.
Pieroni will become Executive Vice President/Chief Lending Officer and Stolp will move into a Senior Vice President/Chief Operations Officer role.
“This is part of the plan,” Huedepohl said. “We have multiple people with significant leadership roles at this bank. We wanted to make sure we have the talent needed to move us forward into the next generation.”
