Founded in 1982, the Stroud law firm is a general business law firm with extensive experience representing lenders in a variety of financial transactions from loan origination to workouts of problem loans and repossession of collateral. We assist our lender clients in negotiating and preparing loan documents, letters of credit, and other financing arrangements, reviewing appropriate due diligence materials, and negotiating asset-based and other souces of lender security. With respect to problem loans, we help develop and execute appropriate workout strategies, including foreclosures, deed-in-lieu transactions, forbearance agreements, and representation in bankruptcies. We also assist with liquidation of owned real estate.
