Capitol Day
Join WBA and your fellow bankers on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, as we meet face-to-face with legislators and their staff for the 2026 WBA Capitol Day!
Tell Your Story!
Very few legislators have experience in banking, making it critical to build relationships with your legislators so you can show them how public policy impacts your bank’s ability to aid in the economic growth and vitality of your community.
As part of Capitol Day, you will:
- Connect with legislators to share the positive impact bankers are having on Wisconsin businesses, communities, and the economy.
- Provide legislators with a call-to-action on how they can help your bank and the industry as a whole.
- Hear from State Assembly and Senate leaders as they provide updates on the current legislative session and political dynamics.
- Receive a WBA Government Relations update with a rundown of our progress on accomplishing our legislative agenda.
Who Should Attend?
All bankers, regardless of position or advocacy experience, are encouraged to take part in this year’s WBA Capitol Day! This is our opportunity as a group of bankers from across Wisconsin to gather together and then meet with each of our own representatives to talk about legislation that impacts our industry and your customers. Be an Advocate for Your Industry!
Bankers will meet in pre-arranged groups with other bankers from their home districts and will be provided with talking points and additional details during the morning sessions to help you feel feel prepared for your meetings.
