This three-part webinar series is designed to provide your financial institution and frontline staff with the essential facts and procedures necessary to have a clear understanding of deposit account documentation and titling. Starting with the fundamentals level, learn the basics of personal and business accounts. As the series advances, the topics will become more complex and deal with more difficult issues for frontline personnel.

Session 1: (Dec. 13, 2018)

    • Including living trusts, funeral trusts, lawyer and fiduciary trusts, guardianships, conservators, estates, and other fiduciary accounts

    • CIP for Minor and Fiduciary Accounts
    • Proper Taxpayer Identification Number Documentation, including IRS special rule for Settlors of revocable living trusts
  • Case studies

Session 3: (Feb. 14, 2019)

  • Municipal deposit accounts
  • Agent designations
  • Payable on Death designations
  • FDIC Deposit Insurance issues
  • Case studies

Who Should Attend:

New and experienced tellers, personal bankers, customer service representatives, branch managers and any other individuals responsible for managing retail account relationships.


The registration fee for this 3-part webinar series is $650 Plus Tax.  This registration fee provides one phone line connection, access to all three live webinar presentations and one-year access to all three recorded, on-demand webinars.  Each webinar will consist of 90 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes for live questions and answers.  Additional phone line connections for your institution may be purchased for $200/connection and may be used for all three sessions.

Please note that your registration is by institution and different personnel can participate in both the live presentation and on-demand webinars.

Instructions will be sent via email to registered attendees prior to each session explaining how to access the webinar and downloadable handout.  Attendees should log in to the webinar and conference line approximately 15 minutes prior to start time.  

On-Demand Access: 

Each webinar in the series will be available to registered attendees for viewing a few days after the live broadcast of the webinar. On-demand access is available for a period of 12 months after the live broadcast. Registered attendees will be notified of availability via email.

Refund Policy

A refund, less a $25 administrative fee, is provided for cancellations requested on or before Monday, Dec. 10, 2018.
