The ACH network continues to go through enhancements and Nacha continues to publish new or amended rules to go along with the technology enhancements. Nacha manages the development, administration, and governance of the ACH Network, the backbone for the electronic movement of money and data in the United States and is an association for the payments industry. The rules provide an operational framework for financial institutions and are enforced by Nacha.
