First Business Bank’s Accounts Receivable Financing Team Welcomes New Employees

First Business Specialty Finance, LLC., a subsidiary of First Business Bank, is pleased to welcome several new team members to its accounts receivable financing group. The team continues to grow with the success of its business model of serving clients quickly, reliably, offering competitive rates.

“We are very fortunate to be growing in this very difficult new business environment,” said Bill Elliott, president – accounts receivable financing at First Business Specialty Finance. “The culture that earned us 2022 Top Workplaces USA Award has allowed us to attract very experienced and talented individuals who will help our business to flourish.”

The new team members are:

Teresa Aboujouda joined First Business Bank in May 2022 as senior debtor credit analyst with more than 35 years of experience in finance and accounting. She previously served as a credit analyst at UMB Bank and held accounting positions with Thomas Reprographics and Hyatt Regency. Aboujouda will be working in new client onboarding, debtor credit analysis, and client service.

Ator Awdish joined First Business Bank’s accounts receivable financing team in March 2022 as a cash processor. Awdish has more than 10 years of experience in health care and is also experienced in bookkeeping.

Eddie Miranda joined First Business Bank in May 2022. He has started as a cash processor and is also helping out in other areas as demand arises. Miranda graduated from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor with a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies and a minor in entrepreneurship. He is also a two-time National Boxing Champion for the University of Michigan and volunteers his time in the community supporting youth as a Support Staff member at his old high school, Pritzker College Prep, and volunteers at the F.A.I.T.H. center for homeless outreach.

Mike Rouse joined First Business Bank in July 2022. He has more than 20 years of experience in transportation factoring and accounting. Rouse serves as an account manager in First Business Bank’s expanding transportation factoring division.

Paige Runyard joined First Business Bank in 2015 and has more than ten years of experience in consumer banking and business accounting. In 2019, she was promoted to field examiner team lead – asset-based lending and in 2022, she accepted a position as credit officer – accounts receivable financing. Runyard is fulfilling many roles, including underwriting and financial analysis/collateral monitoring of larger clients. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with degrees in accounting and economics.

The accounts receivable financing team provides funding in amounts of $100,000 to $15,000,000 to companies seeking to improve cash flow and take advantage of every business opportunity.
