First State Bank: Hansen Retires After 28 Years at First State Bank
First State Bank announced the retirement of Brenda Hansen, Vice President, Marketing Manager, after 28 years with the bank.
Hansen began her career with First State Bank in 1989 as Marketing Officer. She left in September 2000, but returned in November 2007, as Vice President, Marketing Manager and has been integral in the overall growth of the bank.
“Brenda’s unwavering commitment to the bank, the customers, and our team during her tenure will leave a lasting positive impact on the bank,” said First State Bank President and CEO, Matthew R. Lemke. “We are incredibly grateful for Brenda’s years of service and dedication and wish her the best in her well-deserved retirement.”
Hansen shared her time and talents with various community organizations in New London during her tenure at the bank. She served on the board of directors for the Friends of the New London Public Museum, as well as on the ThedaCare New London Advisory Board.
Customers and community members wished Hansen well at an Open House in her honor last week at First State Bank’s New London office.
